This upcoming week we anticipate launching content rewards campaigns for you to clip.

Clipper List was created because we saw a gap: when brands and agencies first start working with clippers, it can be hard to find enough reliable clippers to get real momentum. Most of the time, clippers discover brands after they already have massive reach and momentum (and have spent large clipping budgets already). But to get that initial traction, brands need clippers first.

If you’re new to Whop, new to clipping, or just want a refresher, clipping is the process of taking a brand’s or creator’s long-form content, finding the strongest, most impactful moments, and editing them into short-form clips optimized for TikTok, Reels, Shorts, and other platforms. These clips help spread ideas faster, go viral more easily, and build audiences rapidly.

Platforms like Whop have shown how powerful this can be by paying clippers for performance: approved clips earn hourly based on the thousands of views those clips generate across platforms. It’s a win-win system — brands get reach and growth, and clippers get paid for creating momentum.

So we built a place where clippers can create profiles, and brands and agencies can easily invite them to collaborate — making it faster to spread content across the internet, grow reach, build audiences, and create sales. The goal is simple: help brands expand faster, and help clippers earn more (and bigger) budgets by being part of the early lift.

What to do next:
We’re building a Whop App to facilitate better matching, but for now, post in our discussion board if you’re a clipper (or a brand) and let’s start the conversation and begin building momentum.

If you’re a clipper, show your best work, list the platforms you post on, and add your preferred content styles or niches.

If you’re a brand or agency, start exploring clippers and start contacting them. Even one or two strategic collaborations can spark early traction and momentum.

We’re still early, and we’re building this together. If you have questions, ideas, or feedback, reply to this email — we’d love to hear from you.

Thanks for being part of this.
Let’s help great content travel faster.

Clipping Tip:

Adding captions to the video (especially the captions where each word is highlighted as it’s spoken) increases watch time. Social media algorithms favor increased watch time.

You can use CapCut to add these captions.

If you first create a new project in CapCut:

1 - Click Create New and choose a video aspect ratio.

16:9 → horizontal
9:16 → vertical

2 - Click upload

3 - Drag and drop the video you just uploaded onto the timeline.

4 - You can now click in the menu the word Captions then click Auto captions.

5 - You will now see the captions on the timeline. You can click on any one of the captions, then click under presents (top right) and choose a style for the captions.

6 - You can click Export at the top right of CapCut and then click Download then choose resolution, quality, frame rate format, etc… then click Export to export your video.
